With heavy hearts, we remember Dakota Jack Hudspeth, who graced this world on March 13, 2001, in Kilgore, Texas. Dakota found joy in the simple pleasures of life; he adored music, cherished van rides, and reveled in soothing massages. His father, Bearnie Hudspeth, held a special place in Dakota's heart, his loving words being a source of comfort during difficult moments.
Dakota leaves behind his beloved parents, Bearnie and LaShawn Hudspeth, along with his biological mother, Sammie Ferguson, sisters Miranda Houston and husband Josh, Erin McPherson, and stepbrothers Ryan Middaugh and wife Hayley, Joseph Middaugh, and Austin Middaugh. His aunts Jeannie Kay Hughes and husband Mack, Linda Allen and husband David, uncle Bruce Hudspeth and wife Glenda, and the memory of grandparents Lester "Jack" and Jean Hudspeth and uncle, Lester Hudspeth who have journeyed before him. The family extends their gratitude to his dedicated caregivers, Alicia Gauna and Febriana Ramirez, for their unwavering support.
A graveside service honoring Dakota's life and memory will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, 12 o'clock in the afternoon at Old Sardis Cemetery in San Augustine County, providing an opportunity for family and friends to reminisce on the cherished moments shared with him. Let us gather together to celebrate Dakota's journey and bid him a fond farewell, keeping his spirit alive in our hearts forever.
