Services for Cynthia Jean Perkins, 52, of Gilmer, Texas will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Morgan Cemetery in Upshur County. Interment will be in Morgan Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mrs. Perkins passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Perkins was born October 29, 1959, in Beeville, Texas to J.D. and Beulah Ann Perry Wright. She was a self-employed beautician and had lived in Gilmer for ten years. She is survived by her mother, Beulah Ann Wright; brothers, Lee Wright of Gilmer and Kenny Wright of Gilmer; sister, Teresa Barlett of Mt. Joy, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Perkins is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Perkins; and father, J.D. Wright. No visitation is scheduled.
