Curtis "Lad" Hart Memorial Services for Mr. Curtis "Lad" Hart, 58, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M, Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer. Mr. Hart passed away on Saturday on April 9, 2011 in Upshur County, Texas He was born September 3, 1952, in Porterfield, CA to Kenneth Hart and Irene Hitchcock Hart. Mr. Hart served in the U. S. Navy and was the owner of Harts Custom Flooring. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Hart of Gilmer; father, Kenneth Hart of Springville, CA; mother and stepfather, Irene and Darrell Beatty of Carlsbad, CA; sons and daughters-in-law, Sean and Denise Hart of Gilmer, Darin and Sydney Hart of Bakersfield, CA, Brandon and Lanette Nugent of Gilmer; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Andy Jordan of Gilmer; brother and sister-in-law, Kirby and Xan Hart of Springville, CA; sister, Rhonda Marshall Hart of Oceanside, CA; stepsister, Dana Thayer and husband, Jeff of Torrance, CA; grandchildren, Cole Hart, Cade Hart, Zakary Jordan, Hayley Jordan, Seth Jordan, Bryson Hart, Owen Hart, Lily Cassell, Wilson Nugent, Clayton Nugent, Trenton Nugent and Chaston Dodson. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
