Connie Steele Sutton Jones Gladewater -- Services for Connie Steele Sutton Jones, 92, of Longview, will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at 2 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Charles Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the old White Oak Cemetery. Born on August 4, 1919, in Dewey, Oklahoma, she entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 3, 2012. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Freddie and Jean Sutton of White Oak; daughter, Denise Steele of Longview; 2 grandchildren, Kevin and Ashley Sutton of White Oak; Kristi and Jason Carr of Frisco; 9 great-grandchildren, Skylar, Slade, Cayman, and Campbell Sutton; Cayman and Cade Davis; Hayden Nichols; Ashtin and Nick Carr; and favorite niece, Fran Grimes and her husband Bunky. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Emma Furman; son, Don Sutton; brother, Fred Furman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth and O.D. Aldridge; Daisy and Truitt Moring; and five other siblings. No visitation is scheduled.
