Cody Mauk

Cody Mauk was born May 20, 1930 in Upshur County, Texas, to the late Thomas and Lizzie (Guthrie) Flowers and passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 27, 2019.
She was married on April 11, 1950 to Herbert Mauk, and they were happily married for 44 years. He preceded her in death in 1994, Mrs. Mauk is also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, four sisters, and great grandchild, Rachael Mauk. She is survived by a son, Dicky Mauk and wife, Bobbie of Gilmer, Texas; daughter, Cindy Calavan and husband, Steve of Sulphur Springs, Texas; grandchildren, Brian Mauk, Dustin Mauk, Hollie Elliott, Spencer Calavan, David Calavan, and Aaron Mauk; she is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cody was a devoted mother and grandmother, she loved to spend time cooking for her family. She also loved to work in her yard and flower beds, Mrs. Mauk was also an active member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral service for Mrs. Mauk will be held at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 31, 2019 with Bro. Dicky Mauk and Brian Mauk officiating, interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. prior to the service on Thursday.
