Mr. Clifton “Cliff” Atzenhoffer, age 53, of Hempstead, Texas passed away, after a long battle with cancer, on Monday, June 29, 2020 at his home with family at his side. Cliff was born in Houston on June 20, 1967. He was a lather by trade, working for contractors until starting his own lath and plaster company, Atzenhoffer Lath and Plaster, until he was no longer able. He was a Christian and an avid outdoorsman with a great sense of humor. He loved any kind of fishing, shooting on his gun-range at home, and raising cattle. He was the best husband and father to his beloved wife and children, and will be forever remembered in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Atzenhoffer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Christie (Burnett) Atzenhoffer of Hempstead; father, Jasper Atzenhoffer and wife Jonelle of Trinity; children, Bobbie Salinas and partner, Ken Butts of Waller, Wendie Salinas and partner, Stanley Morgan of Plantersville, Jayme Salinas of Cypress, Nathan Atzenhoffer of Marfa; brother, Paul Atzenhoffer of Conroe; three grandchildren, Dayzee Salinas, Lilleean Salinas, and Maddison Salinas.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Kelsey Cemetery in Upshur County.
