Claudia Dougherty

Claudia Dougherty was born August 20, 1931 and passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, at her residence in Holly Lake Ranch.

Claudia worked alongside her husband in their surveying business with offices in Hawkins and Mount Pleasant. She enjoyed traveling and was even a licensed pilot. Claudia married Richard Gayle Dougherty before he left to serve in the Navy during World War II. They were both avid golfers and had spent the last 35 years at Holly Lake Ranch. Claudia lived life to the fullest and will truly be missed by those she leaves behind to be forever reunited with Richard.

Claudia is survived by her niece Gail McDowell and husband John; great nephews Brent McDowell of Longview, Charles Dougherty of Pflugerville and Patrick Dougherty of Houston as well as many loving friends.

A memorial reception will be held to celebrate Claudia on October 21, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Holly Lake Ranch.
