Funeral service for Claud Weldon Senn, Jr. 78, of the Grice Community will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2014, at Antioch Baptist Church in Upshur County with Bro. Bill Hutto and Michael Stanley officiating. Interment will be in Grice Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Senn passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Longview. Mr. Senn was born September 8, 1936 in Rotan, TX to Claud Weldon, Sr and Clara Havins Senn. He was a retired plant operator and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Georgia Senn of the Grice Community; sons, Alan Senn and wife, Teressa of the Grice Community and Charles Senn and wife, Kimberly of Olalla, WA; daughters, Teresa Gipson and husband, Stephen of the Grice Community and Tammy Senn of Quitman; brother, David Senn and wife, Stacey of Jayton; sisters, Sallie Sparks and husband, Frank of Lubbock and Nora Duff and husband, Blue of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Susanna Senn, Natalie Hennessy and husband, Daniel, Bradley Armendariz and wife, Sunshine, Adam Armendariz, Samantha Landers and husband, David, Lysie Senn-Slevin and husband, James, Trevor Senn and wife Kirsten, and Travis Senn and wife Sabrina; great-grandchildren, Lila Hennessy, Jeffery Hennessy, Haylee Armendariz, Braden Armendariz, Abigail Lee, Adelyn Armendariz, Sailor Armendariz, Cameron Slevin, Jordan Slevin, Kasie Slevin, Rosie Slevin, Taylor Patterson, McKynzie Patterson, Greyson Landers, Madi Senn, Trace Senn, Bristol Senn, Kash Senn and Jordan Hope Senn. Pallbearers will be Alan Senn, Charles Senn, Bradley Senn, Adam Senn, Trevor Senn, Stephen Gipson, Travis Senn and Daniel Hennessy. Honorary Pallbearers will be the deacons of Antioch Baptist Church. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
