Clarwanda was born to Clarence and Wanda Dawson of Gladewater, Texas. She married Coy Hill of White Oak, June 15,1963. She graduated from Gladewater High School in 1961 with numerous accolades, and was Ms. Gladewater in 1961. Clarwanda was the first person to ski on Lake Gladewater, a fact she was always excited to share. In 1964, she graduated from Kilgore College with an Associate's Degree. She was a proud Rangerette from 1962-1964. She enjoyed being a stay at home mother until she went to work at Gregg County Courthouse in 1989. She retired in 2005. Clarwanda loved wearing her hats and jewelry. She enjoyed going to the casinos with her husband. She shared big time, fun memories of years on their house boat at Lake of the Pines and loved to tell stories about their time in the North West while her husband was in the military. Clarwanda was loved by many and cherished by her friends and family. She was always ready for a get together and enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She is preceded by her parents, Clarence Dawson and Wanda Dawson Delay. She is survived by her husband, Coy Hill; brother, John Dawson, and sister-in-law, Anita Dawson; son, Justin Hill; and Daughter-in-law, Crystal Hill; daughter Susan Hogue; and son-in-law, Clint Hogue, her grandchildren: Tanner Hill, Tristan Hogue, Landon Hogue and Carter Hill, along with many nieces and nephews and a lot of dear friends.
