Clarence Morgan Rodenberg

Graveside services for Mr. Clarence Rodenberg, 81, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M, Thursday, February, 24, 2011, at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer with Bro. Wayne Norvell officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Rodenberg passed away on Monday, February 21, 2011 in Gilmer. He was born in Lockhart, Texas to P. J. Rodenberg and Mattie Dickerson Rodenberg. Mr. Rodenberg served in the U. S. Air Force and was a barber at Brookwood Barber Shop in Longview before his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Doyle Rodenberg of Gilmer; sons, Ron Rodenberg of Grapevine, Jerry Rodenberg and his wife, Robin of Gilmer; daughter Sheri Douglas and husband, Skip of Gilmer, brother, Duane Rodenberg and his wife, Joan of Corpus Christi; sister, LaNell Stephens of San Antonio; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son, Glen Rodenberg. No formal visitation will be scheduled. The family request memorial contributions be sent to Kinsman Hospice, 102 Buffalo, Gilmer, Texas 75644.
