Gladewater ~ Memorial services for Clarence Laurie Sypert, 63 of Kilgore, Texas, will be held Saturday, April 25 at 3:00 P.M. in the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Brother Bruce Wells of Liberty City Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. Sypert passed in Kilgore on Monday, April 20, 2015. Clarence Laurie Sypert was born to Clarence William Sypert and Narcissus Mae Holt Sypert on August 4, 1951 in Marshall, Texas. Clarence was an Army Veteran and was employed by Skeeter Boats for many years as well as Orgill where he worked as a truck driver. He was a lifetime resident of Kilgore. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Narcie Holt Sypert; son, Robert "Buddy" Sypert and wife, Hope of Columbia, South Carolina; daughters: Leslie Farris and husband Jason of Ada, Oklahoma, RaShonda Hutchings and husband Don of McAlester, Oklahoma; brothers: Jason Sypert and wife Sharon of Hallsville, Eric Sypert and wife Karla of Liberty City; sisters: Robin Causey and husband Clyde of Liberty City, Lydia Hammock and husband Gregg of Kilgore; 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Mr. Sypert is preceded in death by his father, Clarence William Sypert; grandfather, Lawton Holt and grandparents, Bryan and Dee Weeks. Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Husky, Scott Withers, Kevin Hutchings and Jeffrey Hutchings with honorary pallbearers, R. Truett Sypert, Gabriel Hutchings, Major Rogers and Teagin Rogers.
