Clara Mae Norris was born on May 23, 2022 at Dallas Medical City Children's Hospital to Ben and Abby Norris.
Clara went to be with Jesus, in the comfort of her parent's arms on June 8, 2022.
Before Clara was born Abby knew she would be active, feisty, and determined. Clara proved that during her short life. She was born with a congenital heart defect and she underwent multiple heart surgeries and other procedures. The nurses caring for Clara agreed with her momma about her temperament. She showed grit and determination to fight to be her family.
While Clara's life was short, it was full of love. She enjoyed her daddy and momma singing, she was consistently encouraged and prayed for each day, but was always active to her big sister, Adeline's videos of singing and reading books to her. Clara will be cherished and deeply missed by her parents Ben and Abby, her sister, Adeline, and her brother, Benji; her grandparents, Emily Roberts and Bennie and Donna Norris; great-grandparents, Pat Norris and Millie McGee, as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, James Roberts and her great-grandparents.
A graveside service for Clara will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 11:00 am at Gladewater Memorial Park Cemetery. Clara’s family will be accepting friends and family on Friday, June 10, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
The family wishes to thank all the doctors and nurses from Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas who helped care for Clara’s medical needs while she was with us, as well as all those who have prayed for and continue to pray for Clara and her family.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Ronald McDonald House – Dallas in Clara's name, who helped Clara’s family while she was in the Hospital.
