Cindy Forrister

Funeral services for Cindy Forrister, 61, of Hawkins will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Hawkins with Bro. Jamie Eitson officiating. Interment will be in the New Hope Cemetery in Wood County. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mrs. Forrister passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at her residence.

Mrs. Forrister was born September 12, 1952 in Gladewater to Luke William and Irma Lee Harper Rice. She was a homemaker, lifetime residence of Hawkins and a member of the Pentecostal faith.

Mrs. Forrister is survived by her sons, James L. Forrister of Sulphur Springs and Jimmy Dewayne Forrister of Mineola; daughters, Tammy Griffin of LaVernia, TX and Chrystal Howard of New Harmony; five grandchildren, LeBeckie Forrister, Danielle Ross, Jessica Palacios, Nicholas Palacios and Kimberly Forrister; two great-granddaughters, Theresa Ross and Valeria Ross; numerous step-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Forrister, December 25, 2013; parents; son, James Edward Forrister, Jr.; and daughter, Theresa Forrister.

Pallbearers will be Jason Gallander, Tony Griffin, Kevin Howard, Cliff France, Jason France and Joe Worsham.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins.
