Services for Mr. Chester Leon Hunt, 78, of Longview will be held 10:00 A.M, Friday, September 17, 2010, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Dr. Robert Galvan officiating and interment to follow at Coffeeville Cemetery in Upshur County. Mr. Hunt passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2010 in Longview. He was born January 18, 1932, to Robert Leon and Lou Rainey Lavender Hunt in Coffeeville, Texas. Mr. Hunt was the owner of East Texas Telephone Communications and a member of Stoneridge Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Margie Hunt of Longview; Sons, Chuck Hunt of Red Oak, Jeff Hunt of Irving and Johnny Hunt and his wife Dawn of Plano; brother, Kenneth Hunt of Gladewater; 7 grandchildren, Tanner Hunt, Madison Hunt, Chloe Hunt, Dale Bankston, Lori Reisner, Pam Sutton and Kim Wall; 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister Betty Carolyn Hunt, step daughters Jeffie Bankston and Brenda Cole. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home.
