Charles Williams

Charles Williams, age 67 of Big Sandy, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at his home. Graveside services will be held at Hoover Cemetery on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 2:00 PM, the family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.

Charles was born on September 28, 1950 in Wyoming to the late Harvey Ray Williams and Lois Marie Watson Jarvis. He was a retired welder and a Baptist. He loved to fish, tend to his vegetable garden, and spend time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Nevita Williams of Big Sandy; sons, Jason Williams and wife Jo of Brandon, MS., Chris Williams of Longview, Matthew Williams of Dallas; daughter, Jennifer Williams and husband Troy Barker of Corpus Christi; brothers, Ray Williams and wife Kathy of Hallsville; Glen Bowen and wife Deena of Big Sandy, Charles “Scooter” Bowen of Harleton; sisters, Judy Williams and partner Lloyd Addington of Gladewater, Pat Williams and husband Morgan of Harleton; four grandchildren, Wensdae Williams, Jeremiah Williams, Kassidy Barker, and Cade Barker.
