Charles Vauden Wallace Gladewater " Services for Charles Vauden Wallace, 57, will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at 2 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Carl Singleton officiating. Burial will be in Gladewater Memorial Park. Born on December 11, 1953, in Houston, Texas, he entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 15, 2011. He was a disabled oil field worker. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janis Lynn Wallace of Gladewater; three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Valarie Wallace, Charles Raymond and Teresa Lewis Wallace, and Patrick and Stephaney Wallace, all of Gladewater; 9 grandchildren, Andrew Wallace, Trevor Lewis, Marissa Wallace, Derek Wallace, Carmen Wallace, Charles Raymond Wallace II, Lyndsey Wallace, Trenton Wallace, and Mason Wallace, all of Gladewater; 2 brothers, James Wallace and Jerry Wallace, both of Gladewater; sister, Helen Servis of Gladewater; a very special mother-in-law, Loyce Carpenter; many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Junior Wallace and Lovie Mae Lambert; two sisters, Charlene Shaddox and Lovey Sue Vaughn. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday, September 19, 2011, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
