Charles Elledge, Jr.

Graveside services for Charles Elledge, Jr., 74, of Gilmer, will be 2 PM Friday, April 11, 2014, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Bettie, with Rev. Roy Elledge officiating. Mr. Elledge passed away on Monday, April 7, in Longview.

Charles was born July 15, 1939 in Houston, to James Charles Lillie Mae Elledge, Sr. Mr. Elledge was a truckdriver, served in the Air Force and was a member of Mattinburg Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son: Benjamin Elledge; a grandaughter: Tiffany Cherae Elledge; and a brother: Jack Elledge.

He is survived by his wife: Rose Mary Elledge; sons: Joe Ashley and Rick Elledge; sisters: Nancy Isbell, Lillie Mae Reed, Wanda Clement; and numerous grand and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday, April 10, at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer.
