Charles Edwin Bouknight

Services for Charles Bouknight, 84, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M, Monday, May 14, 2012, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with James Hogue officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas. Charles Bouknight was born on April 19, 1928 in Gilmer, Texas and went to meet our Lord on May 10, 2012 at his home surrounded by his children. He is survived by his children, Charles and Beverly Bouknight, Ronnie and Debbie Bouknight, Steve and Crystal Bouknight, Helen Byrd; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Bouknight on February 4, 2002, grandchild, Nathan Bouknight on December 31, 2011; and 3 great grandsons, Ethan Turner, Charlie Byrd and Charles Longoria. Mr. Bouknight was in sales for Coca-Cola retiring after 43 years in 1990 and a Methodist. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 13, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
