Charles Edward Ferrell

Memorial services for Charles Edward Ferrell, 74, of Longview will be held on Saturday, October 13th at 2:00 pm at Friendship Baptist Church in Gladewater. Charles went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 22, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was retired from Atmos Energy. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with family, and was an avid hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents John Arvel and Opal Ferrell, and his brother Ruben Daily. Charles is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jan Ferrell, and brothers including Bobby Ferrell and wife Vickie of Spring, Texas, Gene Ferrell and wife Glenda of Longview, his sisters Laura Skinner of Longview and Leatha Glisson of San Antonio. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law Kelly and Anita Ferrell of Gladewater, and their children Austin Ferrell and wife Susie, Justin Ferrell, Collin Ferrell and wife Audra, and Nathan Ferrell all of Gladewater. In addition, he is survived by his daughters Chris Ferrell and Levin Key of Austin, Texas. His extended family includes his step-daugher and son-in-law Kem and Bryan Frazier of Gladewater, Keith and Shelly Hugghins of Longview, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
