Charles "C.T." Gorman, Jr.

He was born on September 28, 1925 to Ida and C.T. Gorman Sr. Preceded in death by parents; sister Audrey Tucker and brother Edward Gorman. C.T. is survived by his wife Marilyn; two children, Terry and Diane; and grandchildren, Julie Gorman and Charles Gorman and wife, Renae.
C.T. is a veteran of WWII where he earned several medals that included the Purple Heart. He served with distinction in the Army during the Battle of the Bulge and received commendations for his dedication and bravery. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the Army never left him, as friends and family will attest.
He was born in Gilmer and moved to Dallas where he later married and had two children, Diane and Terry. He worked for General Tire and Rubber Co for over 30 years. In 2003, C.T. and Marilyn returned to their hometown of Gilmer to retire.
C.T. was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Gilmer. He had many hobbies that included woodworking, travel and photography.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on September 25th, at Glade Creek Cemetery.
