Charles �Chuck� Jesse Nicholson DIANA �Services for Charles �Chuck� Jesse Nicholson of Diana, Texas will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Diana with Brother D. Cruson officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Chuck was born on January 8, 1939 and passed away at home on January 7, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rosa Lee Nicholson, 2 sons, Christopher Jesse Nicholson and wife Penny, Calvin Jay Nicholson and wife Denise, 4 grandchildren, Andrew, Brody and Ethan Nicholson and Anna Brooks. Chuck is also survived by 4 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Chuck retired after 25 years employment at Letourneau Steel. He also served as pastor of Midway Baptist from 2002-2013. He has also served as music minister at several churches in the area. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Thelma Nicholson, brother Dick Nicholson, sister Margaret Nicholson and daughter Francine Nicholson. The family wishes to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. And a special thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice for their special care. The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 9, 2015, 6-8 P.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
