Charles Bennie Bellomy was born on October 28th, 1949 in Houston, Texas to CB and Inez Bellomy. For the past 37 years Bennie has lived in Diana with his wife. He went to be with his Lord on September 16th, 2020 after his hard fought battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Bennie worked as a fitter/welder for the majority of his working life. He loved working for Cherco Compressors and JW Power. He never met a stranger. He loved to talk to everyone. He wanted to tell you how things were done, you didn't do it right unless you did it his way. He was always tinkering with or building something.
Ones left to cherish his memories are wife, Margie Kay Bellomy of Diana, sons; Zack Reddick and wife Lisa of Overton, Brian Bellomy and wife Katherine of Diana, John Bellomy and wife Katlyn of Diana, daughter, Apryl Wilson of Diana grandsons: Colin Taylor and wife Arielle of Longview, Zacharia Reddick of Overton, Westen Bellomy of Diana, Charles Ridge Reddick and wife Beka of Bryan/College Station, Clayton Bond of Diana, Holden Reddick of Waco, and Christian Bellomy of Diana. Father-in-law, Dale Estes of Diana, brothers; Glen Bellomy and wife Linda of Lakeland, FL, Tommy Bellomy and wife Kathy of Rushsylvania, OH, sister, Linda Miller of Longview, and Muriel Loftin of Lone Star, great-grandson Hank Benjamin Taylor of Longview, his sweet little dog Mia and a slew of family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, CB and Inez Bellomy and brother Kenneth Jack Bellomy.
Pallbearers: Zack Reddick, Brian Bellomy, John Bellomy, Colin Taylor, Westen Bellomy, John Renfrow, Zacharia Reddick, Ridge Reddick, Holden Reddick and Christian Bellomy.
The family will receive friends and family at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana on September 18, 2020 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be conducted by Bro. Ross Worley and Bro. Monty Van Horn at Bennies’ church, Peace Fellowship Church, Diana, September 19, 2020 at 10 AM. If led, please consider a donation to Peace Fellowship Church or St. Judes Cancer Center instead of flowers.
