Charles David Beckham

Charles David Beckham, a beloved man, father, and friend, passed away on April 3, 2024, in Gladewater, TX. He was born on November 9, 1962, in Gilmer, TX, to Ruby and Alma Beckham. 

Charles was a simple man with a deep passion for his family, politics, and life itself. 

 In his professional life, Charles served as an Online Sales Representative, excelling in his field with dedication and hard work. However, it was his family and personal interests that truly defined him. He had a strong love for golf, spending time on the green perfecting his game. Charles's had a love for grilling & was renowned among his circle, his steaks always the highlight of any gathering. He also had a keen interest in NASCAR and could often be found cheering on his favorite drivers.  

Survived by a large and loving family, Charles leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his son, Cody Wayne Beckham, and daughter, Breanne Adell Overman, along with their spouses Priscilla Beckham and Matthew Overman, respectively. Additionally, he is survived by Stephanie Carpenter, Laura Beckham, his beloved granddaughter, Harper Beckham, cousins and friends. 

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Alma Beckham, as well as siblings James Lee Beckham, Joe Wayne Beckham, and Linda Sue Costlow. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his memory will forever be cherished. 

His infectious smile, silly giggle, and unwavering love for his family and God will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Charles's legacy of love, laughter, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace, knowing that he was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
