Cecile Mae Wilson

Cecile Mae Wilson, age 92, was born in Penelope, TX to George and Nannie Settles Cordell and passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in Rockwall, Texas. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a faithful member of the First Methodist Church in Gilmer.

Cecile is survived by her son Mike Wilson and wife Susie Williamson-Wilson; daughter Kay Brown and husband Dr. Dan Brown; daughter-in-law Suzy Bongers; grandchildren Stacie Everson (Lindsey), Wes Wilson (Lindsey), Tres Brown (Krysta); and great grandchildren Emma, Keely, Avery Everson, Reece and Rhett Wilson, and Haddy Mae and Barrett Brown.

She is preceded in death by her husband Wesley Wilson; her parents; and grandson Zach Brown.

Funeral service for Cecile will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, TX, with Rev. Matthew Smith officiating, interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
