Memorial Services for Carl Glendale Pace Sr., 74, of Gladewater will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday February 4, 2018, at First United Methodist Church in Gladewater with Reverend Dick Dobbins officiating. The family will greet friends following the conclusion of service. Mr. Pace passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018.

Mr. Pace was born April 27, 1943 to Delbert Pace and Elthea Griffin, in Gregg County, Texas. Glendale was a member of the United Methodist Church of Gladewater, Texas. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who will forever be remembered by all the adoring family and friends he leaves behind.

He is survived by son Dale Pace of Kilgore; daughter Brenda Herring and husband Michael Stroud of New London; step-daughters Tanda Jo Robertson and husband David of Gladewater, Crystal Acuff and husband Bubba of Odessa, Texas; Brothers Bobby Dean Pace; Sister Verdene Jones and husband Don; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

Glendale is preceded in death by his parents, brother Outher D. Pace and sister Sarah Delores McAdams.

The family would like to thank a very special group of people who became truly dear to them, Amanda and Becky from Hospice Plus, Debbie of Jordan Healthcare Services and Melinda Jay for all the exceptional care given above and beyond.
