Services for Butch Davidson, 59, of Gilmer will be held 11:00 A.M, Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donny Chamberlain officiating and burial will follow at Grice Cemetery in Upshur County. Mr. Davidson passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011 in Longview. Butch was born on September 8, 1951, in Upshur County, Texas to Huford F. and Corene Warren Davidson. He married Theresa Kay Hanzik on January 12, 1972, in Hawkins. Butch was a self employed painter and a member of First Baptist Church of Gilmer. Butch is survived by his wife, Theresa Kay Davidson of Gilmer; son and daughter-in-law, Caleb and Jami Davidson of Gilmer; daughter, Brandie Key of Gilmer; sister, Judy Lambert of Gilmer; 4 grandchildren, Cailee, Addie, Mally and Hugh Davidson He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Hugh Wayne Davidson and sister, Sylvia Davidson. Pallbearers are Paul Miller, Andy Hurt, Allen Dale Seahorn, Randy Ward, Phillip Bruns, Lindley Hagler.
