Funeral services for Buster Winn Calvert, 100 of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A. M, Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Enon Baptist Church in Upshur County with Reverend Ray Thompson. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Calvert passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014 in Gilmer. Mr. Calvert was born on September 7, 1914, in Gilmer to Louis Evans Calvert and Ada V. Ray Calvert. He was a steelworker at Lone Star Steel before his retirement and was a member of the Baptist faith. Mr. Calvert is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Harold Keller of Gladewater, Karen and Huse Gunn of Gilmer, Genelle and Joe Jones of Gilmer, Ginger and Gary Laird of Ft. Worth, Nancy and David Tevebaugh of Gilmer; sister, Vannie Mae Monroe of Richardson; grandchildren and spouses, Jon and Candy Keller, Jeff and Jennifer Keller, Tana and Greg Laney, Tenee and Chad Pipkin, Tennille and T. J. St.Romain, Jennifer McClaren, Julie and Brad Motal, Joey and Kimber Jones, Jason Jones, James Laird, Meagan Tevebaugh, Abigail and Joe Albritton, and Clint Tevebaugh and sixteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Calvert on February 2, 2011. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
