Brian Charles Yohn Gladewater -- Services for Brian Charles Yohn, 31, of The Woodlands, will be held on Monday, May 7, 2012, at 3 P.M. at First United Methodist Church in Gladewater with Reverend Wayne Flowers officiating. Burial will be in Rosewood Park Cemetery in Longview. Born on October 13, 1980, in Perryton, Texas, to Martin and Jan Yohn, he died on Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Brian graduated from Union Grove High School and obtained his bachelor"s degree in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma Christian University. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America and enjoyed the outdoors greatly. Brian married his high school sweetheart, Amanda Kornegay, on November 17, 2001, and they had just celebrated their tenth anniversary. Brian was employed with Cudd Energy Services in The Woodlands. Brian was a loving husband and devoted father, who lived a happy life surrounded by friends and family. He will be remembered for his smile, unapologetically optimistic attitude, and his ability to always enrich the lives of those around him. He was a true blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a loving man who was loved and admired by all. Brian is survived by his wife, Amanda Yohn; 2 sons, Jack Austin Yohn and Henry James Yohn; parents, Martin and Jan Yohn; his maternal grandparents, Weldon and Ruby Ann Bull; paternal grandparents, Martin and Alma Yohn; siblings and spouses, David and Jennifer Hampton, Betsy Yohn, Chris and Sarah Odell, Chris and Lindsey Yohn, Susan Yohn, Matt and Kelly Yohn, Andrew Yohn, Todd and Erin Yohn, Rebekah Cunningham; brother-in-law, Justin Kornegay and his wife, Brittany Allen; sister-in-law, Holly Kornegay; and twelve nieces and nephews. Loop 281, Longview, Texas 75605 The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
