Bonnie Dale Gordon

White Oak – Services for Bonnie Dale Boyd Gordon, 95 of White Oak, Texas will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater, Texas with Pastor Matt Pool officiating.  Interment will follow in the old White Oak Cemetery 121 E. Bingham Rd, White Oak, TX 75693.

Mrs. Gordon was born Jan 16, 1928, in Noonday, Texas to Francis Elvie and Anna Nervie Kilgore Boyd.  She passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023.  She married her husband of 54 years William Harold (Bill) Gordon in Arp, Texas on July 2, 1947.  Mrs. Gordon accompanied her husband during his career in the United States Air Force for 26 years subsequently settling in White Oak on his retirement in 1970.  She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Gordon is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Rob and Kathy Gordon of Vista, California, daughter Nelda Gordon of White Oak and son-in-law Wayne Burgess of Gladewater, Texas. 

Grandchildren and their spouses include Angie and Todd Holtz of Denton, Texas, Andres Fleming and Natalie Soltonov of Tyler, Texas, Nicholas and Delaney Gordon of Bonsall, California, and Stephanie Gordon of Oceanside, California.  In addition, she is survived by her great-grandchildren Maci Gordon of Lewisville, Texas, Will Holtz of Denton, Texas and Shanna and Shea Fleming of Troup, Texas.

Mrs. Gordon will always be remembered as a very loving sister, wife and mother, a wonderful and generous friend and a very special baker at White Oak School cafeteria where she is still remembered fondly by the former students and staff.
