Bobby Lee Osborne

Graveside services for Bobby Lee Osborne, 84, of Gilmer, will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer with Bro. Pat Camp officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Osborne passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019, in Gilmer.

Bobby was born November 4, 1934 in Gilmer, Texas to the late Loye Osborne and Fern Lee Collier. Mr. Osborne served in the U.S. Army as a clerk. He was retired from Eastman after many years of service. Bobby enjoyed spending time at the Gilmer Country Club with all of his friends. He was a person of habit and his family always knew where to find him depending on the day and time. Bobby was a Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys fan. He never missed watching the PGA major tournaments on T.V. He loved his family and spending time with them.

Bobby is survived by his son Mike Osborne; daughter Jill McCauley; sisters Virginia Strawn and Janet Bowers; brother Ken Collier; grandchildren Holly Montgomery, Jordan Osborne, Alise Osborne, Savannah Osborne, Coby McCauley and Emily McCauley; great grandchildren Tripp Montgomery and Tinslee Montgomery as well as many other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and love of his life Shirley Osborne and a brother Larry W. Osborne.
