Bobby Earl Smith

Bobby E. Smith, 70 of Gilmer passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, in Longview. He was born on May 14, 1945, in Bradley, Arkansas to Delice and Cora Lee Stanley Smith. On December 18, 1963, he married Ann Simms in Hosston, LA. Mr. Smith was an industrial truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Ann Smith of Gilmer; son, Tory Smith and wife, Sharon of Longview; daughter, Keisha Smith of Gilmer; brothers, Jerry Smith and wife, Jonie of McCloud, Mark Smith and wife, Mary of Waskom; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Delice and Cora Lee Smith; brother, Delta F. "Buddy" Smith; sisters, Cora N. Adcock and Linda Hale. The family would like to think those who cared for Bobby in the time of his need. Memorial Contributions may be made to M.D. Anderson in Houston. Visitation for Mr. Bobby E. Smith will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. with Bill Wilson speaking.
