Bobbie Jean Stephens Atkinson

Graveside services for Mrs. Bobbie Jean Stephens Atkinson, 91, of Gilmer, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Mark Engle officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Atkinson was born on October 16, 1923, in Upshur County to Loris H. and Leta D. Holloway Stephens. She was the Deputy Tax Collector for Gilmer ISD and a member of Gilmer Church of Christ. Mrs. Atkinson is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Atkinson in 2003 and her son, John S. Atkinson. The family requests memorial contributions to the charity of your choice. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
