Billy Wayne Davidson

Graveside services for Billy Wayne Davidson, 69, of Gilmer will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Grice Cemetery with Reverend Ray Thompson officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer. Mr. Davidson passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012, in Gilmer. He was born on July 11, 1943, to Clarence and Lois Davis Davidson in Hawkins. On July 11, 1974, he married Mary Jo Allen in Big Sandy and they lived in this area. Mr. Davidson was a self employed horse trainer and a Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Davidson of Gilmer; son and daughter-in-law, Mickey and Patricia Davidson of Gilmer; daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and Merwyn Moss of Paris, Texas; daughter, Vikki Davidson Shipp of Gilmer; brother, Sam Davidson of Jacksonville, Florida; sister, Sylvia Lay of Lake Tawakoni, Texas; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Tanner Shipp, Will Davidson, Greg Davidson, Todd Davidson, Cody Davidson and James Lee. There is no visitation scheduled.
