Services for Billy Keith McPherson, 45, of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A.M ,Thursday December 1, 2011 at Life Tabernacle Church with Bro. Don Kitchell, Bro. Orvil Shindoll and Eddie McPherson officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Upshur County with Bro. Pete Dugger officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. McPherson passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2011 in Gilmer. Billy was born on August 12, 1966, in Upshur County to Ronnie and Gladys Dugger McPherson. He was a self employed painter and a member of the Life Tabernacle Church. Billy is survived by his wife, Hope Waldroup McPherson of Gilmer; parents, Ronnie and Gladys McPherson: sons John McPherson, Keithan McPherson, Joey Dennis, Billy Ray Davis, and Brantley McDougal; daughters, Madison Gunn and Chelsey Gunn; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Jessica McPherson of Gilmer; sister and brother-in-law, Shannon and Clifton Walker of Gilmer; two grandchildren, Tori and Caleb Dennis. Billy was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Mildred Dugger, John and Thelma McPherson and sister Theresa McPherson. The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 30, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
