Funeral services for Billy Arnold Busby, 83, of Hawkins will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Hawkins with Bro. Seth Johnston and Bro Zack Tunnel officiating. Interment will be in Hawkins Cemetery in Hawkins. Mr. Busby passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 in Tyler. Mr. Busby was born March 24, 1932, in Redland, TX to Arnold Newt and Irene Henderson Busby. He was veteran of the United States Air Force, retired from Exxon in 1986 having worked as a Gas Plant Operator, a lifetime resident of Hawkins and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hawkins. Mr. Busby is survived by his daughter Janet Busby Ross and husband, Richard; brother, Steve Busby and wife, Sharla; sister, Beatrice Murray; grandchildren, Chasity Ross Jordan, Jennifer Ross Dorward and Katelyn Ross; great-grandchild, Avery London Dorward. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mollye Lou Alford Busby; and daughter, Rita Busby. Pallbearers will be Eddie Tunnel, Marvin Berry, Joe Nehk, Billy Joe Petrea, Johnny Jones and Marlin Williams.
