Billie Marie Dodson

Billie Marie Davidson Dodson, left this world to be with her Savior November 24, 2020. She was born November 12, 1943 in Shreveport, LA. She worked for the government at Thiokol Army Ammunition Plant for 34 years.
She loved serving the Lord every chance she had and also taught Children’s Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Johnny Dodson, her father Rufus Neal Davidson, step father Harley Jones, mother Imo Jean Jones and sister Peggy J. Waugh.
She is survived by four children, Greg and Dusti Dodson, Vikki Dodson, Becky and Doug Roots, and Gary and Laurie Dodson. Brother Ernie and Janice Jones, 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Rosewood Cemetery with Bro. Charles Johnson and Bro. Gary Dodson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Friday, November 27, 2020 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
