Billie Joyce Newsome

Billie Joyce Newsome, 81, lifelong resident of Gilmer passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in Longview. Mrs. Newsome was born October 20, 1936 to the late Alex Watkins and Viola Rose.

Mrs. Newsome is survived by her son; Larry Newsome of Gilmer, daughters; Barbara Johnson of Gilmer, Judy McCoy of Austin, and Betty Davis of Gilmer, brother; Acie Watkins of Pittsburg, grandchildren; Ethan Newsome, Cheyanne Newsome, Katlin Newsome, Brandon Newsome, Dustin Dodson, Wayne Davis, Jeff Davis, Jay Davis, Shelly Johnson, Amy Johnson, Sean Thompson, Jana Thompson, Kayla, Kelly, Kimberly, and 11 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Newsome is preceded in death by her parents, husband; H.J. Newsome, and daughter; Stacy Newsome.

Arrangements are being made with Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
