Billie Bigelow Hagy

Billie Bigelow Hagy, 95, passed away on October 14, 2022, at her home in Big Sandy, Texas.

Graveside service for Billie Hagy will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer with Bro. David Thornton and Richard Vaughn officiating.

Billie was born on February 2, 1927 in Aransas Pass, TX, to the late Frederick and Ruth Kursell Bigelow. She married Lloyd Hagy on June 14, 1947, they were married for 61 years. Billie spent many years working as a bookkeeper for TxDOT.

Billie is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Vaughn and husband Richard of Gilmer, Jenica Turner of Tyler, and Linda "Crecre" Johnson Stallings of Cedar Park; grandchildren, Charles Johnson III, Sean Johnson, Benjamin Vaughn, Daniel Vaughn, and Elizabeth Turner; great grandchildren, Olivia Johnson, Jake Johnson, Garrett Johnson, Caleb Johnson, David Vaughn, Abigail Vaughn, and Billie Josephina Vaughn; and great great grandchildren, June Vaughn and Chloe Vaughn.

Billie is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Hagy; and grandchildren, David Vaughn and John Turner.
