Bill Varnado, Jr.

Services will be held on Saturday May 31, 2014 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer at 10a.m. Burial will follow at City Cemetery in Gilmer. Bill J. Varnado Jr. passed away May 25, 2014. Bill was born on June 8th 1955 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Bill J. Varnado Sr. and Doris Aleene Varnado. He was a graduate of Gilmer High School and attended Tyler Junior College where he played on the tennis team. Bill was a retired Cattleman and Business Owner. Bill is survived by his four children; Casey Varnado of Dallas, Adam Varnado of Richardson, Cassie Hutton of Gilmer and Dustin Varnado of Gilmer, Grandson Cole Hutton and Grandson To-be Cason Hutton, Aunt Dorothy Varnado of Gilmer, Uncle Foy and Aunt Yvonne Justice of Austin and J.T. and Marie Justice of Lampasas. Bill was proceeded in death by his parents Bill J. Varnado Sr., Doris Aleene Varnado and brother Charles Foy Varnado. The family will receive friends on Friday May 30 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer from 6-8 P.M. Bill will forever be remembered as a great friend to many, and above all, a loving father and grandfather.
