Funeral services for Bill Harrison, 87, of Gilmer will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church in Gilmer with Reverend Richard Laster officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Harrison passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 in Longview. Mr. Harrison was born February 8, 1925 in Gilmer to Nat Johnston and Rhoda Irene Bledsoe Harrison. He was a self-employed cattle rancher, veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Gilmer. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Imogene Harrison of Gilmer; son and daughter-in-law, Nat and Carla Harrison of Gilmer; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Randy Hill of Gilmer; sister, Natalie Beasley of Gilmer; grandchildren, Bradley Hill and his wife, Amber, Hunter Harrison and Tanner Harrison; great-granddaughter, Elyssa Hill; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Neil Harrison Pallbearers will be Bradley Hill, Tanner Harrison, Hunter Harrison, Brandon Wilson, Brandon Nugent, Todd Parish, Tom McClain and Hal Taylor. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
