Beverly Swain Meritt

Graveside services for Mrs. Beverly Swain Meritt, 83, of Gladewater will be Friday, June 19, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. at the Friendship Cemetery in Gladewater with Bro. Jack Newton officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mrs. Meritt passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 in Longview.

Beverly was born April 21, 1937 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late William Cecil Swain and Thelma Hunter Swain. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. Beverly will not soon be forgotten by those she leaves behind.

Beverly is survived by her daughter Debbie McGraw and husband Kenneth of Anahuac; two sons Mike Meritt and wife Kathy of Gladewater and Rick Meritt and wife Deborah of Gilmer; five grandchildren Shawn, Jamie, Mandy, Kaitlin and Hannah; nine great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Jimmy Meritt.
