Betty Saulter Allen

Services for Betty Saulter Allen, 82, of Gladewater, will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014, at 2 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Dale Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery. Born on October 2, 1931, in Gladewater, Texas, to Rufus Lee and Mary Saulter, pioneer residents of Gladewater, she entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 31, 2014. She was retired owner/broker for the Raymond Allen Real Estate. She is survived by son, Raymond Mark Allen of Gladewater; two grandchildren, Brandy Allen of Duncanville, and Casey J Allen and wife Colleen of Gladewater; four great-grandchildren, Brandon Johnson, Kelsie Johnson, Leila Allen, and Carson Allen; one sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Herman Wilson of Gladewater; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Allen; son Taylor "Brian" Allen. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 P.M. on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
