GILMER �Services for Betty Jones, 82, of Gilmer will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Gilmer Apostolic Church in Gilmer, with Reverend Eddie Jones officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Interment will be at Sunset Devotion Cemetery. She passed away August 19, 2012 in Longview. Betty was born August 4, 1930 in Chickashea, OK to Granville and Celeste Brooks. She was a homemaker and member of Gilmer Apostolic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband R.B. Jones, son Roger Jones, daughter Claudette Hixon and great grandchild Shiloh Gray. She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law: Ricky & Roberta Jones, and Russell & Carla Jones, daughters & sons-in-law: Judy Ann & Darrell Hayes, Becky & Rodney Smith, Faye & Rick Boren, and Mary & Jerry Creswell, brothers & sister-in-law: John & Linda Brooks and Bill Brooks, sisters & brothers-in-law: Bonnie & Freddy Melton, Barbara & Leroy Jones, Mary Jones, and Annie & Charles Mannings, 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, 6 to 8 P.M. at the Gilmer Apostolic Church.
