Gilmer -- Services for Betty Ann Skinner, 71, of Gilmer, will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015, at 2 P.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home with Reverend Andy Plunk officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Born on February 28, 1944, to Everett and Ruth Fannin, she died on Thursday, March 26, 2015. She was a retired nurse and a Baptist. She is survived by her husband, Alvin Skinner, Jr. of Gilmer; her mother, Ruth Hill of Gilmer; and one brother, Jim Fannin and his wife, Mary, of Gilmer. She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Fannin, and two sisters, Bonnie Griffin and Norma Jo Long. There is no visitation scheduled. Online condolences may be left at grubbsloydfh.com
