Betty Ann Baird

A Mass of Christian Burial for Betty Ann Baird, 87 of Big Sandy will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 29, 2018, at St Theresa Catholic Church in Union Grove with Rev. Mark Dunne and Rev. Ron Demski officiating, interment will follow at Chilton Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. A Rosary will be recited, 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with visitation to follow. Mrs. Baird passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 in Big Sandy.
Mrs. Baird was born April 25, 1931 in Donora, PA to the late Alexander and Mary (Shafer) Gorondy. Betty was a supervisor at UT Health Center in Tyler, TX for many years and was also a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
Mrs. Baird is survived by her daughters; Monica DeCuir of Big Sandy, Sherry Brown and her husband, Ricky Williams of Gilmer; grandchildren, Cody Davis and his wife, Michele, Chad DeCuir and his wife, Brandy, Bradlee DeCuir; and great grandchildren, Brylee Davis, Tucker Davis, and Hayden DeCuir.
She is preceded in death by her husband, W.L Baird; her parents; son, Gary Baird; and son-in-law, James DeCuir.
