Bertha Lee Evans

Graveside services for Mrs. Bertha Lee Evans, 90, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer with Bro. Mark Huffhines officiating. Mrs. Evans passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2011 in Longview. She was born October 18, 1920, in Daingerfield, Texas to Frank and Nancy McHenry Woods. Mrs. Woods was a homemaker. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Gail Smith of Gilmer, Mike and Bernadine Evans of Gilmer, Don and Bobby Evans of Gilmer; daughters and son-in-law, Judy and Bob Watson of Gilmer, Judy Smith of Gilmer; sister, Callie Metcalf of Gilmer; 18 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her son, Larry Smith; daughter Patsy Ann Smith; granddaughter, Rose Mary Holsworth and grandsons, Eric Watson and Stacy Evans. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 12:00 until 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
