Benjamin Palmer Bradley Gladewater " Memorial service for Benjamin Palmer Bradley, 24, of Gladewater will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011, at 7 P.M. at the ALERT Academy Chapel near Big Sandy with Brother John McGee and Brother James Parrish officiating. Burial will be on Saturday, February 12, 2011, at 10 A.M. at Hawkins City Cemetery. Born on January 7, 1987, in Prescott, Arizona, he died on Sunday, February 6, 2011, in an accident. He was a 2007 graduate of the International ALERT Academy. He was a Class C and Class D water treatment operator at ALERT from 2007 to 2009. He was presently enrolled at University of Texas at Tyler as a civil engineer. A former Alert cadet, he was a member of the ALERT Eagle Response Unit, a part of the Reformed University Fellowship at UT Tyler, a volunteer at the Kids Reach, and a staff member of the Patriot Talon. He was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Gladewater. He is survived by his parents, Alton Morris and Lind Joan Bradley of Gladewater; brother, Aaron Bradley of Gladewater; sister, Bethany Bradley of Gladewater; maternal grandparent, Betty Palmer of Prescott Valley, Arizona; paternal grandparents W. M. "Sam" and Hazel Bradley of Hawkins; aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert C. Palmer. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 P.M. on Friday, February 11, 2011, at the Alert Academy Chapel near Big Sandy.
