Beckey Carroll Yates

Beckey Carroll Yates, 67, of Gilmer, passed from this life on earth to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Friendship Cemetery in Gladewater.

Beckey was born June 18, 1954, in Gladewater, Texas, to Dock and Bessie Mae Woods Johnson. She worked as a nurseryman, and loved all of the flowers, trees and plants. She also enjoyed animals and dogs, and she especially liked going out to eat and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Beckey was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Phillip Yates and a son, Rowdy Yates.

She is survived by a son, Luke Yates; grandchildren, Megan Yates and Ryan Yates; a sister, Betty James and a brother, Dencel Johnson.
