Barry Jayson Ward

Services for Mr. Barry Jayson Ward, 44, of Gilmer, will be held 10:00 A.M, Saturday, May 1, 2010, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Gilmer with Sylvan Palmer conducting. Interment will follow at Kelsey Cemetery in Upshur County under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Mr. Ward passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in Gilmer. He was born March 14, 1966 in Gladewater, Texas to R. O. (Ocoho) Ward and Meta Kay Spencer Ward. Mr. Ward lived all his life in Gilmer and he was employed in logistics with Nestle Waters. He is survived by his father, Ocoho Ward and his wife Amy; his mother, Meta Kay Ward; Grandmother, Edith Ward; son, Jaylen David Ward; brothers Ben Ward, Brent Ward, Bradley Ward and sister, Shelby Ward all of Gilmer. Pallbearers are Chuck Austell, Tim Brown, Cecil Davis, Gene Davis, Matt Denton, Paul Smith, Bradley Ward, Brent Ward and Freddy Ward. Honorary Pallbearers are Stephen Tefeller, Dan Ward and Larry Ward The family will receive friends on Friday, April 30, 2010, 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
