Barry James Faurot

Graveside services for Mr. Barry James Faurot, 62, of Hawkins, Texas will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday at Starville Cemetery with Mike Morrow officiating, under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mr. Faurot passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in Lindale.

He was born on July 25, 1954 in Dallas, Texas to Charles Lester Faurot and Fairy Dell Venable Faurot. Barry studied criminal justice at TJC and went to The East Texas Police Academy at Kilgore College. He held an intermediate certificate as a Police Officer and was a licensed Private Investigator through the Texas D.P.S., working for Strike 3 Bail Bonds. He had worked in construction, was a horse trainer and a member of Cross Brand Cowboy Church.

He is survived by his father, Charles Lester Faurot, sons, Charles James Faurot, Michael David Faurot and wife, Annette, Travis Paul Faurot and wife, Memory; daughters, Rebecca Ann Stolte, Christina Louise Spencer, Charlie Edwina Cowley; brothers, Charles W. , Kelly, Donnie and Charles D.; sisters, Cheryl, Connie, Debbie, and April; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, sisters, Pamela and Gayle, and 1 grandchild.

Pallbearers for the service will be Jason Faurot, Charles Faurot, Jr., J.J. Fox, Jamie Mann, Finn Hartman, and Scott Mullins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 3:00P.M. to 5:00P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins.
